January 2024 started in Queenstown, New Zealand, with an awesome New Year’s Eve celebration I’ll never forget, and on New Year’s Day, we toured glaciers by helicopter and had a picnic atop a mountain next to said helicopter, and it was awesome. A few days later, it was time to fly back home and get back to work, but I visited my parents in Guntersville, Alabama, participated in my annual Hike Inn hike, and went to Nashville to see friends (and my coach) whom I wrestled with in high school before flying to New Orleans for an early Mardi Gras legal conference.

February 2024 started in New Orleans (my 31st visit!), where I reunited with old and new friends before returning to Atlanta for lots of depositions and mediations on zoom, and then we took the children to Las Vegas to see U2 in the Sphere (my 7th U2 show), and it was an amazing experience. We fly straight to Key West for a legal conference while the kids had a couple days off of school. Then, my son and I met my folks on my mom’s birthday in Mentone, Alabama for brunch. The month finished with a lot more time in my office.
